LOCATION
The Buffo Chapel was located 7km of thecity of theUnquillo,
in the Sierras Chicas.
Itis 31 km to Unquillo from the city of Córdoba.

CONSTRUCTION AND INSPIRATION
He built the Chapel in
1941 because he wanted his daughter and wife rested there. It was built in nine
years.
It was made with an oratory and next to it a sacristy and
also a bell tower.
There are 35 stairs to the entrance.
The dome has an oval shape.
It was built between to 1941-1950

The chapel was constructed by Guido Buffo.
He was born in Italy and during his life he was painter,
sculptor, musician, astronomer, inventor, seismologist,
scientist, educator, philosopher and writer.
He lived in Buenos Aires and thebought a place in the
Quebrachitos

RENOVATION OF THE CHAPEL
It was renovated in 2014 by Marcela Mammana restored and
specialist, and the arquitect Javier Correa (historic build restorer).
